Not all juicers are easy to clean. Some are a real pain in the neck. But there are some juicers that are easy to clean, and these are the ones I would like to focus on now.
One of the reasons that I tell people that it’s so important to get an easy to clean juicer is to keep you motivated to juice. Spending too much time on clean up is going to discourage you from juicing.
That’s why I tell my friends that the best juicer is also the easist to clean juicer.

Easist To Clean Juicer Comparisons
The eaeist way to begin an article about easy to clean juicers is to toss up some reccomendations. And that’s what I’ve done below.
These juicers are commonly listed as the easiest to clean juicers for multiple reasons. We will get into that later in the article, but if you’re just looking to get started then the list above is a good jumping off point.
What Makes One Juicer Easier To Clean Than Another?
The first thing to address is the question of what makes one juicer easier to clean when compared to another. It will help you know which types of juicers to avoid buying and which to focus on.
There are two primary areas that make certain juciers superior to others: auger vs. non auger design and complexity.
The first area that you should focus on is auger design.
The easiest to clean juicers are all going to operate with augers.
This is the main reason that I always tell people they should choose a auger juicer when they are searching for the easiest to clean juicer for their kitchen.
Augers make juicers easier to clean because they do not have the sharp teeth and the tiny groves that centrifugal juicers have. You don’t even have to scrub them, the only thing you need to do is run them under hot soapy water or put them in a dishwasher.
The auger and the screen are simple to wash as opposed to the fine cutting disc on non-auger juicers. The small blades are most similar to a cheese gater. And you know how hard those things are to clean?
So my main suggestion would be to get a juicer that is engineered using a cold press design. These are going to be superior in all ways, not just in regards to being the easiest to clean.
Are All Easy To Clean Juicers Alike?
No. Just because you get an auger juicer it doesn’t mean that it’s going to be as easy to clean as another cold press juicer.
Some juicers have self cleaning functions. This makes them easier to clean than others.
Other juicers simply have less parts. My Omega juicer for instance has very few parts, and they are all simple to clean. You just put them under the faucet and rinse them off.
When reading up on a juicer, take into account how many parts it has.
The Omega juicer that I like has fewar parts than something like the wide mouth Kuvings juicer, but one of the advantages to the kuvings juicer is that you can pour water into it to clean it out.
Here’s a video that the Kuvings juicer company produced which shows people the correct way to juice whole apples. At the end of the video you can see how they clean the juicer by pouring a container of water through. This speeds up the process!
Are Certain Types Of Juicers Easier To Clean Than Others?
Yes. As a great shortcut, you can easily cross off the list any juicer that is a centrifugal juicer, even if it advertises itself as an “easy to clean” model. That’s all basically advertising and marketing hype.
Why? It’s simple and a basic understanding of how these juicers operate will let you know. When you get a juicer that isn’t an auger model, the way in which they operate is very similar to a shredder. They are using a gratting disc that is very similar to the shredder that you get when you use a box chesse grater.
These things get little bits of fruit and vegetabls stuck in them. It’s obvious, therefore, that they are not easy to clean.
So, stick with either a cold press juicer like the Omega that doesn’t have many parts, or else choose something like the Hurom or Kuvings design that has something akin to a self cleaning feature.
Easier To Clean Juicer: The List and Reccomendations
Here’s where we come to the fun part. The picks!
The choices here are all going to be easy to clean.
#1 Easiest To Clean Juicer: Omega J8006HDS
This is my number one reccomendation. Why? Because it’s my personal juicer. I use it almost every night. And it’s a simple to clean machine.

#2 Easiest To Clean Juicer: Kuvings B6000S
The only reason that I don’t list this juicer higher (place it as number one) is that it’s not my daily juicer. Plus, it does take a bit longer to assemble and disassemble. However, it does have some major advantages over the Omega namely that it has a self cleaning feature.
The other big advantage that you shoud take into consideration is that this juicer has a wide mouth. That’s useful if you are someone who is not too keen on doing juicing prep. In this case, juice prep means cutting apples and other large fruit into smaller pieces.
Here’s a great video which shows not just how easy to clean this juicer is, but how efficent it is at juicing leafy greens.

#3 Easiest To Clean Juicer: Omega NC900HDC
This juicer comes in at number 3, but that doesn’t mean it’s not a super strong juicer. It has some advantages of the 8006 when it comes to useability. That comes namely in the wider mouth design. However, I have found that you get a bit more juice extraction on the classic model. Which is the only reason I rank this number three.
Here’s a great video demonstrating how easy to clean this juicer is.

#4 Easiest To Clean Juicer: Aicok Slow Juicer
I’ve only included this juicer on the list since I know there are a lot of people out there who are on a budget. And that’s the primary market for this item.
I’ve voiced my concerns about buying a juicer that is made in china before (you can read my full review on the Aicok juicer and how it measures up here).
Overall, I would suggest that you get one of the juicers listed above. Why? Well, the Omega and Kuvings models are simply better made. What you are getting when you buy an Omega or a Kuvings is a superior juicer.
But I would be remiss to not list all of the easiest to clean juicers during my conversation. Because while the Aicok isn’t among the best juicers out there, it certainly is a very easy to clean juicer and for the money, it isn’t a bad entry level juicer.

#5 Easiest To Clean Juicer: KOIOS Slow Juicer
This is another juicer that I wanted to include on the list. While it’s in the same leauge as the Aicok juicer in that they are both made in China, it’s worth putting on the list and taking a look at it.
First, this juicer is quite affordable. And that’s an important factor. Not everyone has the extra money to spend on an expensive juicer.
Second, and most important to this article, is that this juicer is one of the easiest to clean. It’s a basic cold press auger design and simple to wash when you’re done.
It’s also really quiet. (It’s one of the quitest juicers available as a matter of fact).
Check out this video below and you will see just how quit this juicer is.
If you’re not concerned with making wheatgrass and kale and lots of leafy green juices, and are more into apples and celery and fruit, then this is a good pick.
How To Clean Your Juicer: Even The Easiest Juicers Need To Be Cleaned!
Even if you have picked up one of the juicers that I’ve reccomended, it’s still important that you know how to clean your juicer.
I wrote a rather lengthy blog post about this before. It details the tips for cleaning your juicer. So rather than rehash all of that, I’m just going to give you some bullet points:
- Use Vegetable Safe Soap
- Check If You Can Put The Juicer Parts in a Dishwasher
- Hand Wash When Possible
- Always Wipe The Juicer With A Sponge or Paper Towl
- Dry All Of The Juicer Parts Before Putting It Away
And that’s it. It’s a rather straight foward approach. The main thing I would suggest is to always make sure to wash the auger and filters well. You don’t want them to get gunked up. And also be very mindful of not getting the motor wet. Under no circumstances should you place the entire juicer in the dishwasher or in the sink.
