3 Reasons Juicing is a Waste Of Money For Some People

As someone who runs a juicing blog, I am more than familiar with people who think juicing is a waste of money. And honestly, for some people it is a waste of money to buy a juicer.

I’m not a salesperson. I’m not here to tell you everyone needs to buy a juicer. There are plenty of  people for whom buying a juicer is not a good idea. I’ve even covered the topic before, here and here.

And then there are lots of people who would tell you that they can’t live without a juicer. For these people it’s a part of their daily life. They need to make juice and they’d be lost without it

What I’m going to do here is list the three reasons juicing is a waste of money for some people. If you’re one of these people there is no reason to be embarrassed, but it’s also important to realize the type of person you are and not waste your hard earned money on a juicer that you’ll never use.

Juicing Isn’t A Waste For Everyone—Just Some People

Before we get into a list of why juicing is a waste of money, let’s be clear. Juicing can’t be a waste of money by itself. If you want to make juice then buying a juicer and juicing is not a waste of money.

But juicing can be a waste of money if you are not going to do it properly, or consistently. As a rule, what I would say is that juicing is what you make of it. It can be a waste of money, but it can also

You Don’t Want To Shop for Fruit and Vegetables

Do you hate shopping and are you the kind of person who orders doordash and eats out most nights? Do you prefer to use premade meals that you can pop into the microwave? Well, be honest with yourself and realize you are not going to want to shop for fruits and vegetables.

If you’re not planning on buying fruits and vegetables, then you won’t use your juicer. It will sit in your kitchen and collect dust.

You don’t have to be a hard core green juicer, someone who is going to juice all sorts of leafy greens, but you will have to buy fresh fruits and vegetables.

You’re The Kind Who Joins a Gym But Never Goes

Are you the kind of person who will join a gym as a new years resolution or for some other reason and then you never go?

Well, if you are that kind of person then you’re probably going to buy a juicer and not use it.

Not to sound harsh but you’re likely a lazy person who struggles with will power and self control.

You might think that it’s a good idea to buy a juicer but if you sit around most nights eating junk food and haven’t gone to the gym that you pay a membership fee for, then buying a juicer would be a waste of money and space.

Be honest with yourself. If you are not planning on changing your life and do not want to live a healthy life, then simply skip buying a juicer.

You Brought a Cheap Juicer

The final piece of the puzzle is the kind of juicer that you’ve brought. If you buy a cheap juicer, you’re sort of put yourself into a bad spot.

Cheap juicers will be a waste because you are not going to be able to make good juice with them. The cheaper the juicer, the more likely it is that it won’t be able to juice the fruits and vegetables that you’re buying.

That’s why I do suggest that if you are looking to make a juice and begin juicing in seriousness than you are best advised to buy a good juicer, not one that’s going to break and simply make poor quality juice.

Get Started: Commit and Start Juicing

If you are serious about juicing, then buy a juicer and start juicing. If you are a flake who isn’t serious about their health or changing your lifestyle, then don’t bother. If you buy a juicer and return it, then it’s just another sign that you have failed at your attempts at getting health.
Remember juicing isn’t hard. But it does take mental comittment. Sitting on the couch eating fast food is easy. But it’s not healthy.
